I’m beyond excited to announce my first collaboration with Shirts and Destroy and amazing company i have been a fan of for a long time! My “Noexist” shirt is the heavy metal take on the popular “coexist” shirts and bumper sticker. They are available for only $15 at www.shirtsanddestroy.com/Ayejay
Stuff AND things!
Been a tad busy here at janky HQ finishing and editing the next activity book, but was able to knock out a few things for public comsumption. First, the always-radical Henry at Chunklet asked me to provide the illustration for a Wolves in the Throne Room poster!

As that wasnt fun enough, Patton asked for a quick jpeg-ster!

And not my drawing, but only eight years late, knocked out some Becky Sagers t-shirts! The Aaron Horkey drew the pic, based on a logo he drew for Rhymesayers records. These are only available through Mega Fauna in Japan, and come with a bonus button!

And don’t forget the Punk Rock Activity Book! In stores and Amazon.com now!

Ok, back to work i guess…

Chico, CA, February 26, 2008 – Long time Chico artist and resident Aye Jay Morano will present his latest book, The Heavy Metal Fun Time Activity Book, at Barnes & Noble in Chico on Saturday, March 8 at 3:00 PM. The public is invited to meet Aye Jay, draw themselves as Gene Simmons of Kiss in a coloring contest, and enter to win one of two valuable heavy metal history books from Aye Jay’s publisher, ECW Press. This event will be interactive and great fun for all ages.
Aye Jay is an amazing local talent that has been on the cutting edge of Chico’s art and music scene for years, thus it is no wonder his work has garnered well-deserved and far-reaching attention.

Woo Hoo!
Heres a t-shirt design i did for Nathan and Kimmy’s Pony Attack clothing line. Available soon. While i’d love to take credit for the idea, it was Nathan that brought it to me and just needed it drawn. As a huge fan of both Seinfeld and Danzig, i’m very proud of it and can’t wait to sport one.
Beard-danna
Heres a great pic i found in our camera from my son Cohen’s art show “dessert” at the First Amendment Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. Both the beard-danna and Black Osprey Dead Arts Society shirt are available from the fine folk at www.burlesquedesign.com
